Join us for a therapeutic sourdough making class with For the People Bread and Tea + brunch at Jessie’s!
Where sourdough class meets therapeutic sensory play— dig your hands in and get ready to bliss out while learning tricks to making gut healing bubbly sourdough any time you want to.
*We teach how to make Italian style Poolish so you can build your sourdough in 24hrs (instead of keeping it alive by feeding it daily)
*We teach how to build it till it’s ready to pop in the oven and bake
* the class takes 3 1/2 to 4 hours and you leave with dough balls that you can bake at home with an instruction manual.
*enjoy a brunch spread, coffee and tea by Jessie’s while you work

About Mike + Elizabeth Bernardini :
Mike Bernardini had a sourdough pizza business on Oahu called Bernie’s Fire & Stone for several years. He then made sourdough bread in Glenside, PA as “For the People Bread & Tea”
During those years Mike and his wife Elizabeth created a Sourdough class called Dough Therapy mixing educational with therapeutic experience after discovering how healing and beneficial the making of bread is for those experiencing deep grief and/or anxiety and depression.
